High in the Peruvian Andes Mountains, smallholder farmers produce Typica, Bourbon and Caturra coffee varietals. At these high altitudes, the cherries on these trees mature slowly, ensuring when picked ripe they produce the sweetest beans. Over the last few years, with an increase in demand and incentives for higher quality Organic coffees, Peru has put in the work to have a wider selection of specialty grade coffee. This year we are happy to share this sweet, balanced cup.
